The Toronto Star today reported on Bakerlaw client Shahid Mahmood’s human rights complaint against Air Canada, after he was stopped from boarding a Canadian flight.
“This case certainly raises the spectre of racial profiling,” Bakerlaw lawyer Nicole Chrolavicius tells the Star. “There is fear the Muslim community is being targeted by these kinds of national security measures in an unfair way.”
