Today the Federal Government unveiled the bill regarding physician assisted death titled: An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make related amendments to other Acts (medical assistance in dying).

This bill is in response to the Carter v Canada decision which held that Canadians have a right physician assistance in dying. The Government has until June 6th, to implement legislation to ensure Canadians have access to this right.
