The Canadian government sent him to the U.S. where he was accused of being behind the 9/11 bombings: ‘The way they accused me, I thought my life was over’

The Ottawa Citizen today published an extensive feature on Bakerlaw client Benamar Benatta. Mr. Benatta, who was illegally transferred by Canadian officials to the US on September 12, 2001 and held for five years in American custody, is calling on Canadian authorities for a public review of his case.
